Iberia Day 2
Awake after a well deserved rest, we caught up with the group of travelers. Traveling with a guided tour allows you to not think too much so much, but one has to be alert to the plague of pickpockets. It is sad that such a proud and beautiful city as Barcelona is now known as the pickpocket capital of the world.
Dinner was wonderful at the (1992) Olympic port as the sun goes down on the Mediterranean Sea. And another bonus of a group tour is the variety of fellow travelers you meet from all over the world.
On an architectural note, the inner and old city is a great place for Gothic design. And as a nightcap we went to the “dancing waters” set up for the Olympic Games.
